San Diego

Wow! March 24th was my last post? I guess I didn’t keep up with blogging like I thought I was going to. Truth is I have become addicted to myspace and I spend countless hours of free time checking it and updating it. You should check it out…. www.myspace.com/jenronni

Besides my myspace addiction, lots has been going on with me since my last post. I graduated from Rush University with a Masters degree in Clinical Laboratory Science in June. I spent most of the summer in Lake Havasu City with my family, living with my parents while I was on the job hunt. If I wasn’t there, I was in Montana or on one of my many road trips to San Diego. I don’t even know how many times I have gone back and forth between San Diego and Lake Havasu in the past 2 months! But it has paid off, I, officially, am employed at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. It is just 10 miles north of where I live in Point Loma. The hospital is nice, the people are great, and I will be making more money than I thought I would ever start out with. Yea! My six years of college are finally starting to pay off!

I am living with one of my best friends from high school. Her name is Elizabeth and she is a total nut and spazzes out all the time, but it’s great. We act like we are 14, which means I probably won’t be making any new friends anytime soon, and I don’t really care because we are having a great time. I went to have my first pedicure today and in hindsight I am glad I did it, but there was blood involved which means I won’t be running back anytime soon.

I miss Chicago. I miss Liz, and Stacey, and Mel. I miss Becky. I miss Four Corners and Hawkeyes, Ed and LeRoy, Josie and Brandon. I can’t wait to come back and visit.
The question I have today after reading over previous scarce posts is….. What is happening with the Year of Yes? Is it time to get back in the game? Has Stacey been following through because I feel like she hasn’t. Not sure why, just my intuition as her former roommate. She may be the only one the will ever read this, so, Stace, let me know what’s up with the year of yes!!!!!

Another update: I have started jogging, and, no, my uterus has not fallen out. Those who know me best knew my fear about jogging and losing my uterus. Well I have been jogging for a little over a month now and I still got it, haven’t lost it on the street quite yet. Could you imagine the LOST signs I would have to post??? Instead of Have you seen my puppy, I would have to post, Have you seen my uterus? LOL. And, my legs are back in action, looking as sexy an shapely as ever!

Leg Update

For all of you that are wondering, my legs are back in action and look a lot like they do in one of my previous posts. I'll have to take a new photo and post it just to make sure.

YES YES YES

Yes, I have not blogged since June 8, 2005.

Yes, it was hard to actually get back to my dashboard to create a new blog entry -- honestly, I forgot how.

Yes, I am also doing the "Year of Yes."

I, along with Mel and Stace, am participating in the year of yes. The whole idea is new to me and I think that Stace and I have thought about it too much, perhaps brainstorming one too many situations that will probably never present themselves. Tonight is our first night out while living in the year of yes and I CAN NOT wait to see what is going to happen. I haven't figured out my stipulations yet... I guess I am just hoping for the best -- However... What if someone asks you out that you used to go out with? What if ended badly? I'll probably want to say yes being the optimist that I, but I think that in those situations I should say NO. And what if fall madly in love, do I admit that I said yes because of the year of yes??? Way to bust someone's ego.

Oh well -- let's go break some hearts ladies! Mel -- please, no stains. And Stace -- I still think that Carlos counts. His number, afterall, is still sitting on our table. You are totally interested. Admit it.

Bring on the F-U-N!

Took my last final today and all I can say is it's time to bring on the FUN! I have about 11 days until the hell we call Clinical Rotations start at 7 EVERY morning. So until then I'm going to have a good time... Relax to the max and Dance with myself every chance I get.

Perhaps I might even get a tan? Nah... that never happens, but one can always hope.

Dear Mr Leinenkugels

I know it's going to be another great weekend... It has to be when you start it of with a cold Leinies... I have just been introduced to the mixture of Leinies Honey Wiess and Berry Wiess and will be drinking the new concoction as I start to study finals which start next week. If you have to study, you might as well do it right! Plus, it's Memorial Day weekend, need I say more?

So a CHEERS goes out to Mr. Leinenkugel and the joys he has brought to the midwest over the many years. Its one of the perks of living in the midwest -- and the weather right now is also wonderful. I knew spring weather was coming. Sunny and seventy...

I just signed my new lease and will be moving at the end of June next door. Can't wait, living alone is not fun, but I'm not sure it's going to be a very good idea to have Stacey and I live together. I have to apologize now to Laura our neighbor... Her bedroom wall will be shared with our living room wall and I can't promise there will be no dance parties at 4 in the morning when we finally make our way home after a late night. Just remember, you are always welcome to join us...

I'm off to delve into the deep world of immunohematology (don't worry, I'm not sure what it means either) and memorize all the antibodies are little bodies can harvest. Counting down til FUNDAY on Sunday!! I'm sure there will be more pictures from that.

ps... nintendo before work is not such a good idea, unless you are allowed to where flip flops to work ;)

I miss you Liz!

Keep on Dancing in Door County! Love You!

Rocking Chicago

Aren't we precious? I'm not going to lie, everyone loves us. Afterall, who wouldn't?

It's May and I think that winter in Chicago is almost over. Geez, it's about time. It's still chilly out there -- today its in the 50s, but I do love it when the sun is out. It's 110 in Lake Havasu City today, double our temp. The national weather service even sent out a severe weather alert - A SEVERE HEAT WARNING IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8PM TONIGHT. What's that about? Isn't that assumed if you live there?

i'm just bloggin'

I am officially a computer goddess. It's been a long day, but I have successfully figured out how to blog and can now ride the blog train. I hope you will all enjoy my pictures and my scandalous stories from this crazy town called Chicago.

ps... Stacey - Thank you for teaching me all that is Blog. Are we called bloggers now?

Dear Mr Blogger....

I wish I could figure out BLOG.
