San Diego
Wow! March 24th was my last post? I guess I didn’t keep up with blogging like I thought I was going to. Truth is I have become addicted to myspace and I spend countless hours of free time checking it and updating it. You should check it out…. www.myspace.com/jenronni
Besides my myspace addiction, lots has been going on with me since my last post. I graduated from Rush University with a Masters degree in Clinical Laboratory Science in June. I spent most of the summer in Lake Havasu City with my family, living with my parents while I was on the job hunt. If I wasn’t there, I was in Montana or on one of my many road trips to San Diego. I don’t even know how many times I have gone back and forth between San Diego and Lake Havasu in the past 2 months! But it has paid off, I, officially, am employed at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. It is just 10 miles north of where I live in Point Loma. The hospital is nice, the people are great, and I will be making more money than I thought I would ever start out with. Yea! My six years of college are finally starting to pay off!
I am living with one of my best friends from high school. Her name is Elizabeth and she is a total nut and spazzes out all the time, but it’s great. We act like we are 14, which means I probably won’t be making any new friends anytime soon, and I don’t really care because we are having a great time. I went to have my first pedicure today and in hindsight I am glad I did it, but there was blood involved which means I won’t be running back anytime soon.
I miss Chicago. I miss Liz, and Stacey, and Mel. I miss Becky. I miss Four Corners and Hawkeyes, Ed and LeRoy, Josie and Brandon. I can’t wait to come back and visit.
The question I have today after reading over previous scarce posts is….. What is happening with the Year of Yes? Is it time to get back in the game? Has Stacey been following through because I feel like she hasn’t. Not sure why, just my intuition as her former roommate. She may be the only one the will ever read this, so, Stace, let me know what’s up with the year of yes!!!!!
Another update: I have started jogging, and, no, my uterus has not fallen out. Those who know me best knew my fear about jogging and losing my uterus. Well I have been jogging for a little over a month now and I still got it, haven’t lost it on the street quite yet. Could you imagine the LOST signs I would have to post??? Instead of Have you seen my puppy, I would have to post, Have you seen my uterus? LOL. And, my legs are back in action, looking as sexy an shapely as ever!
